This full-day experience combines the highlights of Pest with a visit to Gödöllő Palace, better known as Sisi’s Palace, the beloved summer residence of Empress Elisabeth of Austria.

Discover Gödöllő Palace, often referred to as the “Hungarian Versailles.” Located around 30 km east of Budapest, this magnificent Baroque palace was built in the 18th century for Antal Grassalkovich before becoming the favourite royal residence of Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Sisi in 1867, who cherished it as a peaceful retreat away from the Viennese court.
Surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, the palace boasts lavishly decorated royal apartments, elegant reception rooms, a private chapel, and a fascinating exhibition dedicated to the life of Empress Sisi.
