There are some cities where accommodations featuring a private jacuzzi are surprisingly rare. This is particularly true in major European capitals such as Vienna and London.
We have nevertheless managed to find some excellent options for you, although it required quite a bit of searching! Due to their scarcity, our selection includes a few properties in Vienna’s historic centre as well as others located just outside the city centre with easy access to public transportation.
CH-Hotel Luka
Located in the heart of the Innere Stadt (Vienna’s historic city centre), CH-Hotel Luka is just steps away from several bus and tram stops, as well as being close to the U2 metro line.
We recommend taking a short stroll to the beautiful Church of Our Lady on the Shore, located only a few minutes away from the hotel.
Our featured accommodation is a charming 27 m² studio equipped with a spa bathtub. Bright, spacious and decorated in elegant white tones accented with touches of apple green, it offers a welcoming atmosphere for couples.
Guests can also enjoy an excellent breakfast buffet featuring everything from omelettes to freshly baked croissants.
Spittelberg
Located in Vienna’s famous Museum Quarter, we will simply refer to this accommodation as “Spittelberg” since its full name is rather long and difficult to pronounce. Feel free to follow the booking link below the images if you’d like more information.
A metro station served by the U2 and U3 lines is only 300 metres away, making it easy to explore all corners of Vienna.
The property offers several self-catering apartments ranging from 45 to 55 m².
Two of these apartments feature a spa bathtub, and our favourite is the apartment with a private balcony.
Hotel Kaiserhof
Hotel Kaiserhof is a beautiful traditional hotel located just south of the city centre, within walking distance of the famous Karlskirche church.
We particularly recommend its spacious 42 m² suite located on an upper floor of the building. The marble bathroom includes a luxurious spa bathtub perfectly matching the elegance of the suite.
Each morning, guests can enjoy an outstanding breakfast buffet featuring fresh, dried and candied fruits, cheeses, cereals, meats and even finely sliced vegetables.
The hotel also offers a wellness area with a steam bath, sauna and fitness room. Afterwards, enjoy a refreshing drink at the hotel bar or relax in the charming winter garden.
Vladys Vienna Apartments
Located close to the Danube and right in the Innere Stadt district, Vladys Vienna Apartments offers several modern apartments.
The one we selected features a spa bathtub. Be careful when booking, as all apartments share the same name on Booking.com, so make sure you follow the correct link below the images.
This lovely 25 m² apartment includes a kitchenette, a large double bed, a sofa bed and of course a relaxing spa bathtub. It also offers beautiful views over the Danube.
Hotel Urania
Welcome to Hotel Urania, a charming historic hotel managed by the same family for over 50 years. It is located just outside the city centre, directly along the Danube.
The hotel offers several uniquely decorated “Relax” rooms equipped with private jacuzzis.
We particularly love the romantic baroque-inspired Relax Suite, decorated in black, red and white tones. The lighting fixtures are magnificent, while the bed and carved armchairs add a luxurious touch.
Hotel Vienna Beim Prater
Located in the Leopoldstadt district, Hotel Vienna Beim Prater enjoys excellent transport connections via tram, bus and metro. Vienna’s city centre can be reached in just 10 minutes.
This elegant hotel offers spacious rooms and suites. Our favourite is the stunning 75 m² Penthouse Suite.
Between its beautiful terrace, elegant interiors and spacious spa bathtub, it offers everything needed for a memorable romantic getaway.
Boutique Hotel Dunauwalzer
Located northwest of Vienna’s historic centre, Boutique Hotel Donauwalzer is a modern hotel whose illuminated exterior looks particularly beautiful after sunset. Bus, tram and metro connections are all nearby.
The room that caught our attention is the Double Room with Spa Bath.
The hotel offers two versions of this 22 m² room. One is decorated in olive and mauve tones, with the spa bathtub located in a separate bathroom. The other features red and gold décor, with the spa bathtub placed directly inside the bedroom.
The hotel also offers a wellness area available for an additional fee, as well as a buffet breakfast with both hot and cold dishes.
Melia Vienna
This impressive hotel is located on Donauinsel, the artificial island created during the 1970s and 1980s that has since become a paradise for outdoor and water-based activities.
The metro station is located directly opposite the building. Not just any building, either: it occupies Austria’s tallest skyscraper, the DC Tower.
From the rooftop terrace, guests can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over the Danube and the entire city of Vienna while sipping a cocktail at the rooftop bar and restaurant.
For a truly unforgettable experience, we recommend the magnificent 214 m² Presidential Suite. Its enormous spa bathtub and sleek contemporary design create a luxurious setting for a romantic stay.
