If you prefer to travel by car, or if you live in Brittany, for example, you can take a ferry from France to Ireland. Ferry crossings are available from French ports such as Cherbourg and Roscoff to Irish ports including Dublin and Rosslare. Once in Ireland, you can drive to Limerick or take a coach.
