In terms of weather, Zadar is similar to Split and Dubrovnik, with a Mediterranean climate characterised by hot, dry summers and mild winters. To avoid the summer crowds, plan your getaway between March and May or in September. These periods offer pleasant temperatures and more affordable prices.
Another highly practical consideration when planning your romantic getaway in Zadar is the availability of direct flights between France and the city. Unless you are willing to make two stopovers and spend the entire day travelling, we recommend visiting between April and late September. During these months, direct flights from Beauvais, Bordeaux and Marseille allow you to reach Zadar directly from France. https://www.zadar-airport.hr/en/destinations#bod
