La Table de Clervaux
Located in the heart of Clervaux, La Table de Clervaux has recently been renovated and now features a chic, modern lounge-style interior with a warm and cosy atmosphere.
The restaurant serves both French and Luxembourgish cuisine with an appealing à la carte menu as well as several set menus.
For a true taste of Luxembourg, we recommend ordering the local tasting board featuring three Ardennes ham specialties, Riesling pâté and homemade cold meat salad (Feierstentzalot). It’s the perfect introduction to Luxembourg’s culinary heritage.
Not the most vegetarian-friendly platter—we’ll admit that! Fortunately, the restaurant also offers a good selection of vegetarian dishes.
After dinner, head over to the stylish BA 351 lounge next door and enjoy a locally distilled gin while relaxing in one of its comfortable armchairs.
Restaurant Les Ecuries du Parc
We chose to include this restaurant in our list of romantic restaurants for several reasons.
First, it sits just 300 metres from the town centre in a beautiful green setting. Secondly, it offers a timeless view over the Church of Saints Cosmas and Damian, both during the day and beautifully illuminated at night. Few things are more romantic than dining with that backdrop.
Its rustic yet romantic interior creates the perfect atmosphere for a dinner for two (provided a coachload of tourists doesn’t arrive at the same time!), while the lovely terrace is ideal during the warmer months.
The menu is equally distinctive, often featuring locally sourced Luxembourg game.
If you’re dining in the evening, ask for the table overlooking the church shown in our photo! And if you’re short on time, simply stop by for a drink on the terrace and enjoy the view.
Domaine du Vieux Moulin
If you’re looking for a cosy, rustic and romantic dining experience surrounded by nature, complete with a historic watermill, this charming country inn is well worth the short journey from Clervaux. Simply take the bus and enjoy a pleasant 20-minute walk.
Inside, you’ll find the atmosphere of a welcoming mountain lodge, complete with a large fireplace and warm cognac-coloured furnishings. During summer, guests can also dine on the lovely riverside terrace.
The menu features Luxembourgish favourites such as Cordon Bleu, Wainzossiss (Luxembourg sausage), almond-crusted or meunière trout, along with a variety of seasonal dishes
Restaurant Château de Clervaux
What could be more romantic than dining inside a beautiful historic castle?
Perched above the town, the white Château de Clervaux provides a magnificent setting for a romantic lunch or candlelit dinner.
Located in the former guardhouse, the gourmet restaurant also boasts a beautiful terrace during the summer months.
One feature we particularly appreciate is the tasting menu, which offers a vegetarian alternative for every course, a thoughtful touch that’s still surprisingly rare.
Depending on your appetite, you can choose the number of courses you’d like, with tasting menus starting at under €100.
Do note that last orders are taken fairly early: 1:15 pm for lunch and 8:15 pm for dinner.

Located just 2.5 km from Clervaux, why not continue your fairytale experience with a romantic dinner in one of Luxembourg’s most beautiful castles? Better still, treat yourselves to a romantic overnight stay, with double rooms starting from around €150, depending on the season.
The castle is easily accessible on foot from Clervaux or via buses 163 or 164 (Urspelt Schlass stop).

Yves Radelet
Although not located directly in Clervaux, Yves Radelet deserves a place on this list thanks to its excellent gastronomic cuisine and stunning countryside setting.
The restaurant lies southwest of Clervaux and can be reached in just over 30 minutes by taking the L10 bus from Clervaux railway station.
For a fine dining restaurant, prices remain surprisingly reasonable, with main courses costing no more than €35. The menu also changes regularly to reflect the best seasonal produce.
